export: unclear error(s) when attempting to re-export an imported target
Testcase:
cmake_minimum_required(VERSION 3.16)
project(X LANGUAGES CXX)
add_executable(xxx IMPORTED GLOBAL)
export(TARGETS xxx FILE "${CMAKE_BINARY_DIR}/lib/cmake/X/x.cmake")
Running cmake result in the following output:
-- The CXX compiler identification is GNU 10.2.0
-- Detecting CXX compiler ABI info
-- Detecting CXX compiler ABI info - done
-- Check for working CXX compiler: /usr/bin/c++ - skipped
-- Detecting CXX compile features
-- Detecting CXX compile features - done
-- Configuring done
fish: 'cmake ../testcase' terminated by signal SIGSEGV (Adressbereichsfehler)
My use case here is to install a binary produced by a third party build system ran through cmake via add_custom_target
. Is that not supported?
