CMake-Gui Fully-Qualified-Path in "...source code" and "...binaries" Selection Boxes

Using CMake-Gui v3.13.4 on Win10. In the "Where is the source code:" & "Where to build the binaries:" selection boxes, the 'Browse' buttons automatically replace the DOS-style backslashes ("") with the Unix-style forward-slashes ("/").

However, I find it faster to use Windows Explorer to copy the full path and paste it into the '...build binaries' field. In such usage, on Paste, the field retains the DOS-style FQP backslashes; which of course leads to file/directory does not exist errors.

I'm not sure what, if anything, can (or even should, necessarily) be done about this behavior, but I spent a week trying to use this tool and only accidentally discovered the behavior.

I can't imagine how many people have given up on what is a very useful app, because of a non-obvious behavior...

To upload designs, you'll need to enable LFS and have an admin enable hashed storage. More information
