BundleUtilities should install .dylib dependencies to Contents/Frameworks on macOS
Currently the fixup_bundle()
function from BundleUtilities will install .dylib
dependencies to Contents/MacOS
in the application bundle, alongside executable files. Apple's documentation, however, states that
- "any private shared libraries" should also be installed in
Contents/Frameworks
-
Contents/MacOS
contains "standalone executables"
In my interpretation this means that .dylib
dependencies should also be installed in Contents/Frameworks
.
