Until now. The Obico team has decided to take stab at this problem by figuring all it takes to build an image that you can just download and flash to an SD card to get OctoPrint up and running. This makes it just as easy to run OctoPrint on an Orange Pi as it's on a Raspberry Pi.

Head over to the Armbian website and download the OS image for the Orange Pi Zero Plus, I recommend picking the Jammy variant as it is the latest release at the time of writing this guide. (linked directly here).

Download the Armbian and create the SD card with balenaEtcher. There is no possibility to connect a display to the Orange Pi Zero. This means that you need a wired network setup with DHCP server. After your Orange Pi Zero is running, give it some time, and look for its IP address. The hostname is orangepizero.

First we need to extract the image from the OrangePi_Zero2_Android10_v1.1.tar.gz file we downloaded earlier. If you are on Windows you may need a utility to extract a .tar.gz file. I recommend 7zip for that which is a great open source utility that can extract just about anything.

Raspberry Pi OS Raspberry Pi OS (previously called Raspbian) is an officially supported operating system for RPis. It is a 32-bit Linux (Debian) base OS that has been optimized to run on Pi systems and has been around since 2012. Raspberry Pi OS is free for download. On this site, you will notice that there are actually many different images that can be used with RPis.

Raspberry Pi OS can be downloaded directly from Raspberry, but most people find it easier to use the Raspberry Pi Imager to write Raspberry Pi to an SD card. The imager will download the OS and install it to the SD card.

The Orange Pi Win Plus is claimed to be an open source device, but like many Orange Pi SBCs released in recent months, it has yet to appear on the Orange Pi community site except for mentions on the OS download page. Like the Orange Pi Win and other Orange Pi boards, however, it is shipping on AliExpress.

**Step 2:**If not already done, download the Orange Pi One Linux OS image from armbian.com, and save it.Use win32 Disk Imager to copy the image to the TF card, following the steps as below:

At zero CPU load, Armbian shows a temperature around 140°F. It is logical to suppose that if you load the processor, then at such starting conditions, the temperature will instantly fly beyond 176°F, and hard trolling will start. But this does not happen. The temperature rises, but only slightly, no trolling starts, no smoke comes out of the chip :).

Manjaro is available on Raspberry Pi 4, and I highly recommend using it to enjoy this system in graphic mode. You can download the system images here. And I have a step-by-step tutorial on how to install Manjaro on your Raspberry Pi. You can also watch the video version of this tutorial just below:

You can find all the details about the DietPi installation in my guide here, including the detailed comparison with Raspberry Pi OS Lite. And you can download the system on the official website. For your information, DietPi works on Raspberry Pi 4. It is the perfect operating system for a small server, like a file server or a VPN server you run at home.

If you want to give it a try, you can read my step-by-step installation guide here (or watch the video here). You can download the images for the Raspberry Pi on the official website. Raspberry Pi is now officially supported and ARM/AARCH64 versions included in the latest releases each time.

After a couple of seconds you will see a wizard which will guide you through some basic setup. Once this is finished you are ready to use your Ad-block server! Add as DNS in your internet connection the IP address of the orange pi and check a website you know it is full of ads. Magically they disappeared! Bonus the really nice admin panel for pi-hole. You can access it from your browser ->

The FreedomBox operating system is compatible with any hardware that Debian is compatible with, but we also target our system for specific models of single-board computers for ease of setup and consistent experience. Single-board computers are affordable, increasingly fast, and power-efficient, which makes them great hardware for FreedomBox. You can download Stable and Testing versions of FreedomBox for the hardware models listed below.

We now try to compile Armbian for our very FIRST attempt. This will help us to download a lot required packages, including all Linaro toolchains, U-Boot, etc., and save those packages under folder cache,

Guys, i'm running version 22.02.0-trunk.0046, from the download page. System load is always above 1. CPU temp is 53º. Is this normal? I have nothing running on it. Completely idle. I notice these processes take the most cpu:

I have quit on this board. Temps were reaching 70+ Cº yesterday and even 82º today! Completely iddle. The NIC stopped working. I always used a standard charger or connected it to the router via a usb cable. No idea what might have caused this. To me orange pi is just a low quality clone board. I'll get a raspberry pi when it comes available.

Does the latest Orange Pi distro allow the user to change the repositories/mirrors so that updates can be pulled from other apt repositories other than the ones included in the distro? I have found that to be a challenge in versions of Ubuntu and Debian that I have downloaded from Orange Pi's site. It seems to fail when source.list is edited to replace the repositories.

I loaded the image you created (version 2) onto my raspberry pi zero W. I use an iPad to control the pi. I started PHD2. When I use the wizard to set a profile, few cameras are listed and my ZWO120mm mini is not one of them. What do I do to get the program to recognize my guide camera?

Congratulations for finally announcing official 64bit version out of beta. Please do, however, consider writing out WidevineCDM situation clearly in your download page[1] and hopefully in the future provide us with better solution to either fix the situation or to provide us with 32bit chromium default to not worry about that situation.

Open up the Raspberry Pi Imager program and click CHOOSE OS. Then scroll to th
