I'm really hoping that you will tell me that it is already supported and I just missed a setting, but if not it would be amazing if this was something that was coming out.

We do not have any short term plan to integrate it, but if it is something you would be willing to support and that you are able to provide a pcap file from this sensor, this could be done via our support ticketting system ( 10h-20h should be sufficient) : https://www.kitware.eu/get-support/
Gatien,
I am interested with this as a possible path forward. I want to give you
an idea of what my end goal is to make sure your software will work with my
project. I am assembling a lidar unit that I plan on mounting to a DJI
M300 drone. The main components I am using are a Livox Avia, an Advance
Navigation Certus GNSS, and a Sony ILX-LR1. I am hoping to use a
Raspberry Pi 4 or 5 to run the software during flight. OpenMMS is the
original concept that I am working off of; however, when I was purchasing
my equipment I wasn't able to buy the same components their project used.
I am comfortable using computers but have very limited coding background.
This is where I hope your software can come into play. From what I can
tell your software can handle both point cloud acquisition during flight
and some post flight data processing. The Certus outputs a pps signal that
I can use to sync the photos and point cloud data with the positioning data
and both the certus and the sony camera have the ability to store data
internally so I don't need to necessarily compile data on the fly.
Thank you for getting back to me so quickly and I hope we can do
business together.
