Avoid DeepCopy dispatch when array is empty. · 1b93f37c
      David C. Lonie authored
MSVC 2010 appears to assert that arguments to `std::copy` are non-NULL
and will crash even when both input pointers are NULL and the copy is
      really a no-op.

Add a runtime check to prevent the `std::copy` call from being made when
      there is no data.

Fixing some quadratic cell triangulations · a5b68783
      Andrew Bauer authored
The quadratic hex, pyramid and wedge implementations for
Triangulation() were incorrect. Also fixes linear wedges generated
from subdividing the quadratic wedge and updated the test for
vtkCellTypeSource to include volume calculations for these cells.

Improved CopyStructuredData() to handle more cases. · 510b81b5
      Berk Geveci authored
CopyStructuredData() only supported the use case of copying
from a larger structured dataset to a smaller one. This was
added to handle output initialization of imaging algorithms.
Extended the method to support cases where the two structured
data are of arbitrary extents as long as they overlap. This
is useful in various situations. For example, when writing
ghost cell data exchange code, one has to receive a small
structured data containing the ghost data and then copy those
values to the larger structured data. For this use case, I
also added SetupForCopy() which sets up the mapping between
input and output arrays without having to call CopyAllocate()
which wipes out any existing data.

Fixing issue with function parser for math functions · 2d3a917c
      Andrew Bauer authored
If a math function name (e.g. abs) was followed by a matching pair
of parentheses, the parser would assume that it was a function
without checking what was between the math name and the open
parenthesis to verify that the substring wasn't something else.

Remove special characters from VTK source files. · 03647e64
      David Gobbi authored
The source was searched with "grep -l [^ -~]" to find characters outside
of the printable ASCII range 0x20 to 0x7e. The worst offender is the
en-dash character, which is visually indistinguishable from the minus
character in most code editors. Several tabs were also found, which
is surprising since they should be blocked by the commit hooks.

Add timestamp check for vtkLookupTable BuildSpecialColors · ee085a8a
      David Gobbi authored
This will re-build the BelowRange, AboveRange, and Nan color entries
in the lookup table if they are out of date. Without this change, if
a user calls SetBelowRangeColor() etc. after the table has been set or
built, then the table will remain unchanged.
